Key Course Features:

✔ Understanding Confined Spaces: Identifying confined spaces and recognizing associated hazards
✔ Gas Testing Procedures: Use of gas detectors to measure oxygen levels, toxic gases (H₂S, CO), and flammable gases (LEL%)
✔ Types of Gas Detectors: Training on single-gas and multi-gas detectors, calibration, and bump testing
✔ Ventilation & Purging: Techniques for ensuring safe atmospheric conditions before and during entry

✔ Permit-to-Work (PTW) System: Understanding entry permits, hot work permits, and isolation procedures
✔ Emergency Procedures & Rescue: Recognizing warning signs, evacuation procedures, and rescue techniques

Course Outcome:

✅Competency in Gas Testing: Ability to properly operate and interpret readings from gas detection equipment

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Recently Booked an IOSH Health and Safety Course through Samson. Samson did not directly provide the training but I found them easy and reliable to deal through they found a course provider to best suit my requirements. I really enjoyed the course and the course instructor through her own experience was able to provide real life examples of Health and Safety Issues. There was interaction with Q & A’s between different sections of the course which kept the course interesting.
